Afiq bags five golds but dismisses chance of winning top award

SARAWAK bowler Abang Afiq Yazid Abang Azman (pic) has put himself in the running for the Malaysia Games (Sukma) Best Sportsboy award after rolling down his fifth gold medal.

The 19-year-old Afiq underlined his prowess when he defeated Mohd Hasif Ali Hanafiah of Melaka 267-259 in the boys’ Masters final at the Ampang Superbowl in Ipoh yesterday.
