Qistina beats top seed to capture girls’ Open title


Well done: Qistina Zainal Fitri defeated top seed Am Eerahusna Dato Aznel 182-178 in the sudden death to win the girls’ Open title at the Milo International Junior All-Stars bowling championships.

PETALING JAYA: National youth bowler Qistina Zainal Fitri ended Malaysia’s three-year wait for the girls’ Open title at the Milo International Junior All-Stars bowling championships.

The 21-year-old came from behind to beat Am Eerahusna Dato Aznel in the stepladder finals at the Sunway Megalanes yesterday to bag the title and RM18,000 prize money.
