Gritty Nerosha overcomes pain and rivals to make girls’ Open finals


Back in action: Nerosha Keligit was sidelined for four months with a forearm muscle strain after winning six gold medals at the Sukma in Sarawak.

PETALING JAYA: Nerosha Keligit had to overcome intense pain in her forearm and her rivals to make the 36-bowler girls’ Open finals in the Milo International Junior All-Stars bowling championships.

The 20-year-old Sarawakian had been sidelined with a forearm muscle strain since July – just after she became the first bowler to sweep six gold medals in the Sukma bowling competition in her home state.
