Alex on course to win Indonesian Open bowling title


KUALA LUMPUR: Seasoned bowler Alex Liew is on course to knock down his fourth Indonesia Open Masters title.

The 38-year-old Alex, champion in 2005, 2006 and 2008, was in top form as he amassed 1,880 pinfalls with lines of 183, 259, 234, 279, 257, 257, 178, 233 to lead the standings after the first block of eight games.
