KUALA LUMPUR: Defending champion Victoria Chin of Malaysia is beginning to feel the heat at the Hong Kong Open bowling championships.

In the first block of eight games in the Masters event, she was in the lead before losing her rhythm in the last two games, which saw her drop to third spot. She had lines of 268, 223, 173, 258, 257, 203, 186 and 162 for a 1,730 total.
