Jane and Shafiq advance in Euro Challenge bowling

PETALING JAYA: Sin Li Jane and Syafiq Ridhwan Abdul Malek kept the Malaysian flag flying in Germany as they made it through to the third round of the Finals in the mixed-field Brunswick Euro Challenge.

Li Jane, who won five medals at the Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships in January, was again in blazing form. She registered lines of 267-193-248-235-242-182 for a six-game total of 1,415 pinfalls to take third spot. Only the top eight in the second round proceed to the third round.
