KUALA LUMPUR: Some of the world’s top bowlers are the star attractions in the inaugural UMS Kota Kinabalu International Open 10-Pin bowling tournament at CPS Bowl in Kota Kinabalu from Aug 26-31.

The tournament, organised in conjunction with the University Malaysia Sabah (UMS)’s 20th Anniversary celebration, will see the participation of 13-time pro champion Mika Koivuneimi of Finland; four-time AMF World Cup champion Paeng Nepomuceno and 2006 Asian Games Masters gold medallist Biboy Rivera of the Philippines; World Championships triple gold medallists Wang Yu-ling of Taiwan; Singapore’s World Cup champion Jasmine Yeong-Nathan; and Malaysia’s very own World Championships singles gold medallist Jacqueline Sijore.
