Victoria claims junior all-star title in nervy final

National back-up bowler Victoria Chin won the Milo International Junior All-Stars girls’ Open title at the death after her opponent failed to strike her last attempt at the Pyramid Mega Lanes on Saturday.

PETALING JAYA: National back-up bowler Victoria Chin endured a nerve-wrecking moment before claiming the Milo International Junior All-Stars girls’ Open title and a RM18,000 cheque at the Sunway Mega Lanes in Sunway Pyramid here on Saturday.

The 18-year-old Victoria was up against former world champion Jacqueline Jenelee Sijore in the final and she was left on tenterhooks after competing her last throw.
