Bowlers Faten-Victoria bag gold at Asian Youth tourney


PETALING JAYA: National youth bowlers – Faten Najihah Ahmad Faik and Victoria Chin – bagged another gold medal in the Asian Youth Championships in Hong Kong after an outstanding performance in the girls’ doubles event.

Faten-Victoria won the gold medal with a total of 2,644 pinfalls to beat South Koreans Kim Hee-bin-Ji Eun-sol (2,496), who held the lead after the first squad. Singapore’s Joey Yeo Rouqi-Ilma Nur Jannah settled for the bronze on 2,449 pins.
