CNY comes early for Chun Hong and Co with second-circuit clean sweep


PETALING JAYA: Chinese New Year cheers came early for Ting Chun Hong and his NS Matrix teammates as they won all four matches in the second circuit of the Asean Basketball League (ABL).

Matrix had a slow start in the first circuit where they suffered two narrow losses to Singapore Slingers 82-84 and Vietnam’s Saigon Heat 84-88 before bouncing back stronger to beat Macau Black Bears 73-54 and Zamboanga Valientes of Philippines 86-82 at the Singapore Sports Hub OCBC Arena.
