Dragons can’t be toothless against Vampire


PETALING JAYA: After suffering their latest defeat, the Westports Malaysia Dragons face a must-win battle in their next two games against the Mono Vampire at the Maba Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

The Dragons must beat the Thai side today and again next Wed­nesday in Bangkok if they are to keep their playoff hopes in the Asean Basketball League (ABL) alive. With the Dragons’ 73-88 loss to the Singapore Slingers on Friday night, the southern neighbours completed their sweep against the Malaysian side with four wins out of four meetings in the regular season.
