PETALING JAYA: The national junior girls’ basketball squad put up a tremendous showing to finish second in the 3x3 Under-18 Asia Cup.

The team – comprising 17-year-old Chow Pui Yee and 16-year-olds Foo Suet Ying, Lim Jing Zhe and Yap Siew Hong – ran out of steam in the end as they lost 6-13 to Indonesia in the final at the Gem In Mall, Cyberjaya, yesterday.
