Pearly-Thinaah off to confident start at Arctic Open


PETALING JAYA: Women’s doubles world runners-up Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah got off to a confident start at the Arctic Open after cruising past Denmark’s Natasja Anthonisen-Amalie Kudsk in the first round on Wednesday (Oct 8).

Pearly-Thinaah, who were also last year’s finalists, needed just 32 minutes to defeat the Danish pair 21-13, 21-14 to book their spot in the next round.

Awaiting them in the second round are Indonesia’s Febriana Kusuma-Meliysa Puspitasari.
