Aaron-Wooi Yik reach China Masters semi-finals


PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik stormed into the China Masters semi-finals after beating Indonesia's Leo Rolly-Bagas Maulana.

Aaron-Wooi Yik came out on top 21-19, 21-18 at the Shenzhen Arena on Friday (Sept 19).

The world No. 2 pair will next take on familiar rivals Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty of India for a place in the final.

Aaron-Wooi Yik will be out for revenge after losing to the world No. 7 Indians in their last meeting in the last eight of the World Championships in Paris.
