Rosman starts work in BAM

New women's doubles coach Rosman Razak addressing the players during his first training session at the Academy Badminton Malaysia (ABM) in Bukit Kiara on Tuesday (Nov 5).

PETALING JAYA: Newly appointed women's doubles coach Rosman Razak officially started work at the Academy Badminton Malaysia (ABM) in Bukit Kiara on Tuesday.

Rosman agreed to re-join BAM at the end of last month after leaving the national body in 2020.

The 48-year-old left his position as an independent coach after finding the offer from national coaching director Rexy Mainaky too good to turn down.

"I started my coaching career in BAM and I'm happy to be back," said Rosman.

"When Rexy approached me, I was interested in the challenge to guide Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and to help the youngsters in the team close the gap to Pearly-Thinaah.

"So far, everything is good and I hope the players can adapt to my training methods as soon as possible."
