Aaron-Kai Xing to lead Malaysia’s challenge at Asian Juniors


PETALING JAYA: Top boys’ doubles pair Aaron Tai-Kang Kai Xing and national Under-18- boys’ and girls’ champions Roslie Razeeq Danial and Ong Xin Yee will spearhead Malaysia’s challenge at the Asian Junior Championships in Yogyakarta from June 28-July 7.

Aaron-Kai Xing, the junior world No. 1, are Malaysia’s best bets to win the boys’ doubles crown in Indonesia.

Roslie, who won his Under-18 crown in Alor Setar earlier this month, will be joined by Sng Wei Ming, Kong Zhou Swin and Mohd Faiq Masawi who finished in the top three during the trials held by the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) two weeks ago.

In the girls’ singles, Malaysia will be banking on Xin Yee and Siti Zulaikha Azmi where they will be aiming for a top eight finish in Yogyakarta. Boys’ singles: Roslie Razeeq Danial, Sng Wei Ming, Kong Zhou Swin and Mohd Faiq Masawi.
