Yew Sin-Ee Yi's run ends in German Open semis


Men's doubles pair Ong Yew Sin-Ee Yi lost out 5-12, 15-21 to China's He Jiting-Ren Xiangyu in the German Open semi-final.

PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttlers Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi's campaign in the German Open came to an end in the semi-finals.

World No. 12 Yew Sin-Ee Yi found China's world No. 14 He Jiting-Ren Xiangyu too hot to handle, and went down 5-21, 15-21 in Mulheim on Saturday (March 2).

Malaysia's challenge in the tournament is over after the independent pair's defeat.

Yew Sin-Ee Yi will now turn their attention to the French Open which starts next Tuesday (March 5) in Paris.
