Pearly-Thinaah and Co book Uber Cup slot despite flop


SHAH ALAM: All is not lost for the national women’s badminton team as they have qualified for the Uber Cup Finals after all despite failing to reach the semi-finals of the Asia Team Championships.

The team led by national No. 1 doubles pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah exited the Asia team meet which also acts as the qualifiers for the Uber Cup Finals after going down 0-3 to Indonesia in the last eight at the Setia City Convention Centre on Friday.
