Zii Jia’s decision to take a break could be right move to rediscover form


PETALING JAYA: It came as a shock to some of his fans but Lee Zii Jia may have taken the most appropriate action – taking a break from the game temporarily, to rediscover his form.

It was painful to see a shuttler with much quality, who won the All-England title in 2021, suffer defeats in the preliminary rounds on a regular basis and Zii Jia finally decided that enough is enough at the Indonesian Open yesterday.
