Soh ambitious – Goon Chup’s son already an aspiring champ at nine

SEPANG: National men’s doubles shuttler Soh Wooi Yik had wanted to become a champion ever since he was nine years old.

And his dream was realised on one of the biggest stages when he and partner Aaron Chia ended Malaysia’s 45-year-wait for the World Championships in Tokyo recently.
