Fresh from capturing the Korean Open title with Lai Pei Jing, Kian Meng teamed up with veteran Tan Wee Kiong in the men’s doubles to upset upcoming Indonesian youngsters Pramudya Kusumawardana-Yeremia Rambitan 21-11, 16-21, 22-20 in the opening round of the Korean Masters in Gwangju City yesterday.
