PETALING JAYA: Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah gave a rousing show to reach the All-England quarter-finals.

The world No. 15 battled for 74 minutes to beat Rin Iwanaga-Kie Nakanishi of Japan 18-21, 21-19, 21-16 in the second round of the women's doubles event in Birmingham on Thursday.
