PETALING JAYA: Professional shuttler Liew Daren was on the verge of pulling out from his fourth World Championships but a short trip to Dubai changed everything.
Yesterday, the rejuvenated 34-year-old singles shuttler cleared the first round with a 21-14, 21-14 win over Israel’s Misha Zilberman.
