Eogene and Siti emerge winners

PETALING JAYA: Eogene Ewe Eon and Siti Nurshuhaini Azman emerged as the boys’ and girls’ singles top division winners in the Badminton Association of Malaysia junior internal ranking meet at the Academy Badminton Malaysia.

Eogene won his last group match yesterday to seal the top spot in the group while Justin Hoh settled for second despite winning his game too. Eogene won 21-14, 21-18 over Chua Kim Sheng while Justin defeated V. Poopathi 21-10, 21-14.

Both players were tied at five points each but Eogene had won the head-to-head tie between the two players.
