PETALING JAYA: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) had voted against the proposal to implement a new 11-point, best-of-five (11x5) scoring system during the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) virtual annual general meeting last Saturday, it was disclosed.
A detailed voting record released by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) shows that the BAM were among the top nations that opted for the existing 21x3 scoring system to remain.
