PETALING JAYA: Soong Joo Ven and Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin will start as favourites for the men’s singles competition of the RM100,000 Top Glove-Purple League Pro-Am badminton championships when it gets under way in Putrajaya next Tuesday.

The 25-year-old Joo Ven and Iskandar, 29, have been seeded first and second respectively in the 16-man knockout contest taking place at the Kompleks Kejiranan Presint 11.
