PETALING JAYA: Back-up doubles shuttlers Ng Eng Cheong-Low Hang Yee have been given a chance to prove their mettle in two tournaments in Thailand as head coach Flandi Limpele seeks the country’s third pair.

The duo have been named together with the Badminton Association of Malaysia’s (BAM) top two pairs – Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik (world No. 9) and Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani (No. 28) – for the Thailand Opens from Jan 12-17 and Jan 19-24 in Bangkok.
