Undefeated: Chong King has won all his four matches in the BAM Invitational Championships.
PETALING JAYA: Leong Jun Hao and Lim Chong King lived dangerously en route to booking their Division One spots in the Badminton Association of Malaysia Invitational Championships.
In the Division Two match at the Academy Badminton Malaysia in Bukit Kiara yesterday, former Asian junior champion Jun Hao dropped the opening game before clawing back to beat Wyman Goh 20-22,21-12,21-17. A few hours later, he overcame Mohd Shaqeem Eiman Shahyar 21-14,21-18.
Chong King also endured a similar route when he recovered from a first-game setback to beat Ter Chun Long 19-21,21-16,2-13 in the morning before scoring a hard-fought straight game 21-16,22-20 win over Wyman.
