PETALING JAYA: Rio Olympics silver medallists Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong will not defend their Taiwan Open title this year.
The world No. 14 will not sign up for the Sept 1-6 tournament in Taipei, which marks the restart of the World Tour, as V Shem’s wife Wong Pui Mei is expected to give birth to the couple’s first child that week.
