Eight chosen to lead clean badminton campaign


PETALING JAYA: Indian women’s singles ace P. V. Sindhu and China’s world No. 1 mixed doubles pair Zheng Siwei-Huang Yaqiong are among eight new faces of the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) “I am badminton” integrity awareness campaign as the world body continue to promote clean, fair and honourable sport.

Last year’s World Championships-winning trio are joined by 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games women’s singles gold medallist Michelle Li of Canada, Germany’s Marc Zwiebler and three para shuttlers – England’s Jack Shephard, Hong Kong’s Chan Ho Yuen and Germany’s Valeska Knoblauch.
