Badminton break set to be longer than planned


PETALING JAYA: Shuttlers all over the world are bracing themselves for a lengthy international circuit break that could well last until the end of August as the Covid-19 outbreak shows little signs of abating.

The New Zealand Open has become the latest “victim” as Badminton World Federation (BWF) made their fourth announcement on the suspension of all their World Tour and other sanctioned tournaments in just a span of two weeks.
