KUALA LUMPUR: National women’s singles shuttler S. Kisona (pic) has been on the up-and-up after her SEA GAmes gold medal and her excellent showing at the Asia Team Championships in Manila. Yet, she remains hungry to keep proving herself.
Kisona showed that her SEA Games success was no flash in the pan when she stunned Japanese world No. 19 Aya Ohori in the group stages of the team meet. It was her first victory over a top-20 player.
