Asia Team Championships: Shuttlers whip Indians to set up clash with South Korea

Pretty straightforward: Lee Zii Jia beat India’s B. Sai Praneeth in the Asia Team Championships Group B match at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum yesterday.

PETALING JAYA: If the team’s fine form is anything to go by, Malaysia are looking good to punch their ticket to the Thomas Cup Finals in Aarhus, Denmark in May.

All Malaysia need to do now is to overcome South Korea in the quarter-finals of the Asia Team Championships in Manila today – a very do-able task.
