PETALING JAYA: Independent men’s doubles pair Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong can breathe a sigh of relief after ending their horrid run of four opening round exits at the Korean Masters in Gwangju.

The world No. 13 pair did not take long to overcome former national teammates Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi 21-16, 21-17 yesterday.The pair had previously lost in the opening rounds of the Denmark, French, Fuzhou China and Hong Kong Opens.
