PETALING JAYA: There was no further joy for Malaysia at the Fuzhou China Open as men’s doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik and mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie’s gallant run came to an end in the semi-finals.

World No. 14 Aaron-Wooi Yik had no answers to fourth seeds Takeshi Kamura-Keigo Sonoda of Japan as they lost 13-21,14-21 in just 31 minutes yesterday.
