PETALING JAYA: Malaysia are likely to return home empty-handed from the World Junior Championships in Kazan, Russia, unless Yap Roy King rises to the occasion with Ooi Jhy Dar and Gan Jing Err in the boys’ and mixed doubles events respectively.
The individual competitions start today and based on the draw released on Saturday, eighth seeds Roy King-Jhy Dar are likely to take on top seeds and defending champions Wang Chang-Di Zijian of China in the quarter-finals.
