Independent men's doubles pair Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong lost 23-21, 11-21, 11-21 to Indonesia's seventh seeds Fajar Alfian-Muhd Rian Ardianto in the third round.
Women's doubles pair Chow Mei Kuan-Lee Meng Yean also crashed out 12-21, 13-21 to Japanese third seeds Misaki Matsutomo-Ayaka Takahashi.
While in the mixed doubles, Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing were outclassed 17-21, 7-21 by Thailand's fourth seed Dechapol Puavaranukroh-Sapsiree Taerattanachai.
Only Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying remain in the fight for a mixed doubles medal.
