Fire in their bellies

The hunt continues: Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Lai Jemie hope to collect Olympic ranking points at the Thailand Open which starts today.

PETALING JAYA: National mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie will enter the Thailand Open today with renewed optimism as they seek ranking points to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games next year.

The world No. 12 failed to impress at the Japan Open last week, losing in the first round to eventual runners-up Hafiz Faizal-Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja of Indonesia but they leave Tokyo inspired.
