PETALING JAYA: National singles shuttler Soong Joo Ven lived up to his top billing when he marched into the third round at the Malaysian International Series.

The 24-year-old chalked up a 21-17, 21-15 win over Indonesia’s Henrikho Kho Wibowo in 29 minutes yesterday.
