KUALA LUMPUR: Under fire mixed-doubles pair Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing finally ended their first round winless streak.

And the world No. 38 did it in style by sending third seeds Yuta Watanabe-Arisa Higashino of Japan packing in the first round of the Celcom Axiata Malaysia Open at the Axiata Arena on Tuesday (April 2).
