A job well done: Cheam June Wei stunned world No. 20 Lu Guangzu 21-12, 21-17 to stage a fightback for Malaysia in the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships in Hong Kong yesterday.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia went down fighting 2-3 to China in their Group D match in the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships in Hong Kong.
With the defeat, Malaysia finish as the runners-up to top seeds China in Group D.
Both Malaysia and China advance to the quarter-finals and will be joined by Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

Yesterday, men's singles shuttler Cheam June Wei stole the show when he stunned world No. 20 Lu Guangzu 21-12, 21-17 to stage a fightback for Malaysia.
