GENTING HIGHLANDS: National singles shuttler Soong Joo Ven (pic) pulled off a stunning win to steer Kepong Badminton Club into the final of the SS Purple League Finals.
Joo Ven found his form to upstage world No. 27 Frenchman Brice Leverdez 11-5, 11-7, 6-11, 9-11, 11-8, and that was good enough for Kepong BC to knock out favourites Ampang Jaya BC 12-8 in the semi-finals at the Arena of Stars here yesterday.
