Disparity in age not a problem for Greysia-Apriyani

No gulf in talent: Greysia Polli (left) and Apriyani Rahayu of Indonesia beat Puttita Supajirakul and Sapsiree Taerattanachaiof Thailand in the second round yesterday.

INDONESIANS Greysia Polli and Apriyani Rahayu have an age gap of 11 years between them, but on the badminton court they are a perfect match.

The duo first teamed up as the women’s doubles pair back in May 2017, and quickly shot up to world No. 3 in September of last year. Currently, they are ranked fourth.
