JAKARTA: National men’s doubles pair Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi pulled off a stunning upset when they knocked out world No. 3 Takeshi Kamura-Keigo Sonoda of Japan to reach the quarter-finals of the individual competition at the Asian Games.

The world No. 25 went on the assault from the start to carve out a 21-14, 21-17 win against their rivals, who had recently emerged as runners-up at the World Championships in Nanjing, China, at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno on Saturday.
