NANJING: Seasoned campaigner Nguyen Tien Minh of Vietnam could not bear the thought of not playing competitive badminton.

The 35-year-old, a former world No. 5 and the 2013 World Championships bronze medallist, hung up his racket after the 2016 Rio Olympics but his retirement lasted just one month.
