PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s decision to drop women’s singles players from the Asian Games squad is indeed justified.
Yesterday, Soniia Cheah (pic) showed there is still a huge gap between Malaysia’s women shuttlers and the world-class players when she slumped to a 21-17, 21-13 loss to P.V. Sindhu of India in the women’s singles quarter-finals at the Thailand Open in Bangkok.
