PETALING JAYA: Cheras Badminton Club signalled their title intent after blowing away defending champions Petaling Jaya BC (PJBC) 14-6 in the second stage of the SS Purple League.
Cheras BC, back in the league after skipping it for a year, started strongly by taking the first four ties through Chong Yee Han (first men’s singles), Bellaetrix Manuputty (women’s singles), Danny Bawa Chrisnanta-Mohd Arif Abdul Latif (men’s doubles) and Terry Hee-Shela Devi Aulia (mixed doubles) at the Sports Arena Sentosa in Jalan Kelang Lama.
