Surprise win for Zii Jia

PETALING JAYA: Teenage shuttler Lee Zii Jia pulled off a stunning win over sixth seed Qiao Bin of China to storm into the quarter-finals of the Bitburger Open in Germany.

The 19-year-old Zii Jia, the world No. 55, took just 37 minutes to oust world No. 33 Qiao Bin 21-17, 21-12 in the third round at the Saarlandhalle Arena in Saarbrucken on Thursday.
