To retire or not?: Lee Chong Wei will have some soul-searching to do after his first round exit in the World Championships in Glasgow on Tuesday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Still reeling from one of the most shocking defeats in his badminton career, Lee Chong Wei has asked to be given time to take stock of things before deciding on his future.

The world No. 2 collapsed to his worst-ever outing in the World Championships when he lost 19-21, 24-22, 17-21 to Brice Leverdez of France on Tuesday.
