KUALA LUMPUR: Independent shuttler Zulfadli Zulkiffli survived a scare to reach the second round of the World Championships in Scotland.
The former world junior champion came back from a first-game setback to beat Artem Pochtarov of Ukraine 8-21, 21-13, 21-13 in a 53-minute men’s singles first round match at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on Monday.
